Introducing Shannon the master mind behind online store Kristal Cave.

Shannon grew up surrounded by people who had a strong belief in the abilities of crystals. This is opened the door to her love for the spiritual. Because of this, she made the decision to attend spiritual classes where she learnt more about the healing abilities and properties of crystals.

Crystals are believed to help with the curing of ailments and protect against disease. Many people believe that crystals are conduits for healing by allowing positive energy to flow through the body eliminating the harmful energy.

After buying several crystals for personal use, Shannon decided to start selling them herself. Pretty soon she started incorporating them into jewellery designs. The aim of the store is to be able to open the door of crystal healing to everyone by making them affordable.

The next step in her business dream is to be able to stock handmade tarot cards, notebooks and larger crystals for your home. Again all of this will be sold at a reasonable price!

So what is the dream? Shannon would love for the business to grow and prosper but eventually, she would love to open a physical store where people can visit and get advice on crystals.

Here Is To The Future

So this week I decided to make a real commitment to my little online business. I and going to post at least three new items every week along with at least one flash sale a week.
I am also going to try and take part in more craft fairs. In order to do this I will be relying on friends and family for support and lifts. In three years time I would love for making these little crafts and jewellery to be my full time job. I would love to be able to travel the country visiting craft fairs. Locally the pinnacle would be to take part in the monthly markets that take place at the Gloucester Quays Designer  Outlet.
Because I want this to be a success I am going to be making the move to selling my goods on etsy. This means I would really like to re-shoot all of items in a more professional manner. So if any friends would be able to help  we with photography or modelling of my jewellery I would be eternally grateful. I can pay you in pizza!!!
I also really enjoyed making the bath bombs so every month I will be releasing a new flavour or design!!! Again these will be sold or the bargain price of just £2.50 each!!! In May i will start selling three beautiful flavours being lavender fields, cucumber and green tea, and coconut dreams. I am also looking to release a unicorn themed bath bomb but that is just a dream!!!

These next few months are going to be full of hard work but I hope it all pays off and to all my friends who are able to help me with my dream, thank you honestly it means the world to me!!! So please tell your friends, show them what I make and encourage them to support my dream too!!!

What a Beautiful Day

Happy Saturday!!!
Today I woke up and all I wanted to do was make something. Get all crafty again!!!
Typical me I didn't know what to make all I knew is that I wanted to try something new. So to help me decide I went for a walk into town and let me tel you the weather was beautiful. Check out this gorgeous picture of the Cathedral I took.

This has been a long week and ever muscle in my body was starting to ache while i was waking around so I decided to try my hand at making bath bombs!!
I made two varieties; lavender and, green tea and cucumber. Honestly I was surprised how easy they were to make. I found a simple recipe on the diy projects for teens site. Unfortunately I don't have a bath so my sister will be testing them out next week for me!!!
If they work as they are supposed to I will be selling them over on my depop page for just £2.50 each!! They will be made to order and I really wanna try out loads of different colour combinations, shapes and scents so please feel free to request anything no matter how crazy it is!!!!
The bath bombs are currently drying so I don't have a picture of them at the moment but keep an eye on my instagram later.

DIY IT!!!| DIY Christmas Gifts

I know right, can you believe Christmas is literally round the corner. This year I have been super unorganised and have literally bought nothing. So this year I have set myself a little challenge. I am going to try and make some gifts.

So the first DIY I have done are the famous 'Sharpie Mug'. Now I couldn't find any of the sharpie paint markers so i used posca pens instead. So I have made these for my two house mates and my mum and sister. Everyone loves mugs and they can be used for so much more than just drinking a good cuppa tea!!!

So first of all you will need a selection of cheap plain mugs, nail varnish remover, paint pens and stickers.

I'm not all that creative so i went with the monogram letter dot design. What I did was print out some letters in a variety of bold fonts onto some sticker paper. once I stuck the letters to the mugs and chose the colours i wanted the dots to be. I chose silver and gold as I thought it was very christmassy!!!
once you are happy with your design peel the sticker off and leave to dry fully over night. In order to be able to use the mug without damaging your design you will need to pop in the oven at 220 for around 45 mins. Make sure you let the mugs warm up and cool down completely with the oven to prevent cracking.
Your mugs are now done!!! Make sure to only hand wash them so they last longer!!!!

Busy Bee!!!

Hello my lovelies!!!
I have been a very busy bee recently. First of all I have started working in a lovely new store of which I am enjoying thoroughly!!! Secondly I have been exercising my creativity by creating a beautiful line of necklaces. What I have made are not necessarily high end fashion but they are something that I think are beautiful. They are simple charm necklaces made of black cord and antique bronze charms and pendants.
In the future I want to be able to use quartz and crystal pendants. I would also like to create a line of bracelets and earrings.
