Sale Shopping

Hello there!!!
So it is that time of year where we are all bloody skint from Christmas and the shops decide to have a sale!!!
Now I'm not going to lie I haven't done all that much sale shopping this year as I have had to sort out things for my new job but I did pop into Debenhams and have a look at what they had going on in there.
So I spent a total of £17.55 and bought four items.
So the first item you will have already seen on my snapchat if you follow me there and that is a flash light that attaches to your phone via your headphone jack. so this was £5 down from £10

The second item i bought was as a beautiful clutch purse and key ring that was £6 down from £12. it is a lovely gold with the words 'saving for adventure' debossed along the front.

So the next item was a lovely makeup set from Academy of Colour. The set I picked was the REDS lips collection and it contains a lipstick, lip gloss, liquid lipstick, lip gloss crayon and a lip pencil. I can't wait to try these out!!! They were £4 down from £8

The Final item I got was a set of two lip crayons in a pink shade and a purple shade which I cant wait to use!!! These were £2.50 down from £5

What I Got For Christmas

Did you all have a great Christmas? I know I did.
So you will probably read a gazillion post just like this but that's probably because they are so fun to write lol!!!
So lets get into it!! Now first off I am going to apologise, I don't have any pictures of my presents as I am super unorganised but I will post a picture on instagram later.

So First of all I got a lynx gift set!! Ever since lynx released their female fragrance I have received it every year.
The next present I got was a black cape that fastens at the front and a super fluffy bright pink dressing gown. I freaking love this dressing gown it is sooo cosy like you would not believe.
Now this is quite possibly my favourite present!!! My dad is an absolute legend and I'm not going to lie I never really thought he paid all that much attention to my hobbies and my interests since I stopped running but apparently I  was very wrong!!! Completely off his own back he went and did a bit of googling and bought me some jewellery and crafting tools!!! I cannot wait to use them!!!
I also got a lovely pair of biker style boots that have the most amazing cushioning i have ever experience in a pair of boots before!!!

Now I also bought myself a couple of Christmas treats!!! You know those moments when you are out buying things for other people and you are like 'you know who would like that? I would like that' well
I had that moment three times!!! So my first 'me' present was a beautiful maybelline make up set that included a beautiful pink lipstick, a mascara, a contour palette and their 24 hour colour tattoo eyeshadow.
I also bought myself a lovely gift set by Baylis and Harding's Beauticology range. This set includes a shower creme in strawberry swirl, a body lotion in pink peppermint  candy swirl, a body wash in cherry candy cane; this all came in an absolutely amazing red glittery clutch/cosmetics bag!!!
The final item I bought was a Lee Stafford Chopstick Styler curling wand!!!! I cannot wait to use this!!! I absolutely adore when my hair is curly especially when I have all my funky colours in my hair!!!

DIY IT!!!| DIY Christmas Gifts

I know right, can you believe Christmas is literally round the corner. This year I have been super unorganised and have literally bought nothing. So this year I have set myself a little challenge. I am going to try and make some gifts.

So the first DIY I have done are the famous 'Sharpie Mug'. Now I couldn't find any of the sharpie paint markers so i used posca pens instead. So I have made these for my two house mates and my mum and sister. Everyone loves mugs and they can be used for so much more than just drinking a good cuppa tea!!!

So first of all you will need a selection of cheap plain mugs, nail varnish remover, paint pens and stickers.

I'm not all that creative so i went with the monogram letter dot design. What I did was print out some letters in a variety of bold fonts onto some sticker paper. once I stuck the letters to the mugs and chose the colours i wanted the dots to be. I chose silver and gold as I thought it was very christmassy!!!
once you are happy with your design peel the sticker off and leave to dry fully over night. In order to be able to use the mug without damaging your design you will need to pop in the oven at 220 for around 45 mins. Make sure you let the mugs warm up and cool down completely with the oven to prevent cracking.
Your mugs are now done!!! Make sure to only hand wash them so they last longer!!!!

Christmas Wish List 2016

Hello there!!!
Can you believe December is literally round the corner? Where has this year gone?
Now as we all know December can be one of the most stressful months when it comes to shopping. So to help all my wonderful friends and to give you a little bit of present inspo I have put together my or Christmas wish list.
So here goes!!!

The first item on my list is clothes. now this isn't because I just cant be bothered to go shopping. It is actually because over this last year I have put on quite a bit of weight (although that does not mean I am unhealthy) and I had to give away my entire wardrobe. I literally have like no clothes at the moment and not that much money!!! Luckily I am a size 16 now which means I can get clothes in both the regular ranges and the more curvy ranges!!!

The second item on my list is a macbook air. Now I know this is really unrealistic but they are just so beautiful looking. They are also super light weight which means I would be able to blog more often and keep an eye on my new jewellery site much easier.

The next item on my list is quite simply a giant Body Shop haul. I am quite simply obsessed with the Body Shop and always visit my local store whenever I am in town. I absolutely adore their face masks and would love to try out some of their make up range!!!

I admire Zoella and everything she has achieved which is why I would love it if I could own pretty much here entire beauty and home range. the packaging alone is just gorgeous and I can only hope to be half as successful as her.

The fifth item on my wish list is my favourite perfume!!! Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium is the one perfume I adore yet cannot afford.

Unicorns!!! That's all. I love unicorns and I will love anything with a unicorn or a lipstick called unicorn.

And finally it would be great to receive some crafting supplies!!! I am addicted to washi tape so fill me up a stocking and away I go!!! I would also love some craft punches (i think that is what they are called) they would add so much to my crafts and scrap booking.

I have also put together a wish list on amazon containing all the items i would love. Now before you say it this is not me begging for you to buy me anything. That is not what I want. This is just a fun little blog.

McDonald's Christmas Menu 2016

Hello there!!!
So yesterday during my quick shopping trip before work I decided to try McDonald's new Christmas menu for 2016. So here is McDonald's promotional poster for the new range:

Now looking at this picture I knew I had to ditch my failed attempt at a diet and go check it out. So I bought the festive cheese feast and the terry's chocolate orange mcflurry.
Now my first moan is that on the first day of the Christmas promotion the store I visited did not have any of the chocolate banoffee pies. Like WTF?!?! How do you not have promo items on the first day of a promo???
So this is what the food looked like when I sat down to eat:

So as you can see the burger is literally a big tasty with some cheese and cheese sauce. Now to me that really does not scream Christmas. In fact it tells me that McDonald's really could not be arsed this year. Like dude when I think of Christmas I think cranberry sauce and turkey. But NO they just wanted to use up left over promo meat.
The other thing that annoyed me during this visit was that my Christmas mcflurry was in the wrong cup. I actually had to check to see if they had  given me the correct mcflurry. This mcflurry cup still says malteaser. now this usually would not bother me but I went to McDonald's yesterday specifically for the Christmas menu and when I don't get what i wanted I am not too pleased.

Now the burger did taste nice I have no complaints about that, it just isn't in the slightest bit festive. What I do know though, is that I will not be buying the Christmas mcflurry again. Not going to lie it was shit. It did not taste like a chocolate orange in the slightest in fact I could barely taste the orange. Over all I woulld give it just one christmas out of five. 🌲
