Always be a Rainbow in Someone Else's Cloud

Hello my lovelies!!!
so I am sorry if this blog is not as great as normal but I am really struggling to write something at the moment. So if you follow me on instagram and snapchat you will have seen that I never have the same hair colour for long!!!
Ever since I was about 15 I wanted to have candy floss pink hair. It was all I could talk about but m mum hated the thought of me ruining my blonde hair. It wasn't until I was 18 that I went out and bought a box dye and it was rather interesting. I was working at BHS at the time and quite frankly they hated it but the customers thought it was brilliant!!!

After the pink I went for another box dye this time purple. now when I first did this my friends thought they were proper comedians and sent me theses pictures.

Honestly it didn't look that bad but it really did not look great either!!!

Now after the purple I'm not too sure what I was thinking because I kinda went green. Yes that I right, I guess I thought I could pull off the mermaid look but alas it was quite the contrary. The dye I used was quite simply rubbish and I guess I should just show you what happened.

Never again will I attempt to be a mermaid!!!

I think the green must have put me off dying my hair for a bit because it wasn't until very recently that I dyed my hair pink again. This time it was more of a raspberry than a bright pink. I actually really liked this colour and if I was going to use a box dye again it would definitely be this one.

I am very lucky these days that I have a best friend who specialises in vivids. This means I never have to use a box dye again and can experiment a lot more!!! because of this I have recently been able to have a variety of colours in my hair. The first style we went for was a purple, pink and blue balayage which looked absolutely amazing although I was likened to the My Little Pony, Princess Twilight Sparkle.

The next style we went for was this beautiful blue and pink combo which I am actually in love with right now. I love the way that the pink comes through the blue. I just love it!!!

So were do I get my inspiration from? It would have to be Kasey O'Hara Skrobe aka Hair by KaseyOh
She is an absolutely brilliant vivids specialist from Maryland USA. It would absolutely mean so much if one day I could get my hair done by her. Her creations are so magical and never fail to make me go WOW!!!
Here is some of her work:

I hope this has given you some hair inspo and if you also love having crazy hair why not tag me in your pics on instagram!!!!
And just remember always be a rainbow in someone else's cloud!!!

Sale Shopping

Hello there!!!
So it is that time of year where we are all bloody skint from Christmas and the shops decide to have a sale!!!
Now I'm not going to lie I haven't done all that much sale shopping this year as I have had to sort out things for my new job but I did pop into Debenhams and have a look at what they had going on in there.
So I spent a total of £17.55 and bought four items.
So the first item you will have already seen on my snapchat if you follow me there and that is a flash light that attaches to your phone via your headphone jack. so this was £5 down from £10

The second item i bought was as a beautiful clutch purse and key ring that was £6 down from £12. it is a lovely gold with the words 'saving for adventure' debossed along the front.

So the next item was a lovely makeup set from Academy of Colour. The set I picked was the REDS lips collection and it contains a lipstick, lip gloss, liquid lipstick, lip gloss crayon and a lip pencil. I can't wait to try these out!!! They were £4 down from £8

The Final item I got was a set of two lip crayons in a pink shade and a purple shade which I cant wait to use!!! These were £2.50 down from £5

So I hope you enjoyed reading this and you managed to find a few bargains of your own. Why not comment what your best sale bargain has been this year.

Much Love

I Can Bake...Kind of

So while I was working the other day I saw that we were selling whoopie pie makers for only £5 so I bought one!!!
Because of this I went round to my boyfriends to make whopie pies!!! It took us about three hours to make them but  that is because we are quite simply awful at baking!!!
So here is the cheats way of making some interesting whoopie pies!!!

What you will need:

1 whoopie pie maker
100g butter
150g 70% chocolate
200g sugar
3 free range eggs
1tsp vanilla extract
30g cocoa powder
200g self raising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

How to make them:

Melt the butter and  chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water making sure the bottom or the bowl does not touch the water. Keep stirring gently so that the chocolate does not burn.

Whisk the sugar, eggs and vanilla until a you get a mixture that is thick and pale in colour.
Fold the chocolate mixture into the sugar and eggs.

Sieve in the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and fold gently ensuring you do not over the mix the mixture.

Evenly distribute the mixture into the cases and cook for 3 minutes!!!

Pink marshmallow frosting:

What you will need:

100g softened butter
200g icing sugar
2tbsp milk
1tbsp vanilla extract
100g marshmallows
pink food colouring

How to make it:

Mix together the butter, sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Add the food colouring until you reach your desired shade of pink.
Gently melt the marshmallows in the microwave until they are slightly melted and start to puff up.
Add the marshmallows to the icing an mix till fully combined.
The frosting should be thick and light.

We made a little too much frosting so decorated the top with it and so pink sprinkles. I have to say although they may not have looked the best the sure were yummy!!!

As always thank you for reading
