The Big Surprise Day- part 1

So after not hearing from my boyfriend for a good 24 hours. I still didn't have a clue what today would entail. I decided to give him a call and he has quite simply told me we are going for a freaking meal. Not gonna lie but I am thoroughly disappointed. this day was his way of fixing this relationship showing that he does care and I am sorry if I sound ungrateful but a poxy meal!!!
Like I was expeccting a day of christmas shopping in Bristol or at least something a little bit more exciting than a meal at the quays. which by the way is where we always freaking go!!!!
At this present moment he has done nothing to say this relationship is good we are awesome if anything I feel as though he has put no thought or care into today.
This is so frustrating.

An Update On My Dilema

So first of all a massive thank you to everyone who offered me your support. Sometimes it really does help to talk to complete strangers!!!
So I thought I would give you a little update on the situation.
Me and my boyfriend have talked and in all honesty at this present moment this relationship is coming to a crashing halt. It quite frankly does not work anymore.
But I have said that if things do not change with in a week then it will be for deffo over.
So far he has been quite good he texts when he says he will text ect but I still don't feel any different. There is still a part of me that knows that the good boyfriend act wont last. I know that if we stay together in a few weeks or a month things will go back to shit again.
But we will see. he is planning some sort of super surprise day on Tuesday so I will let you all now how that goes.

A Bit of a Dilema

Hi Guys!!!
So basically I need  bit of advice.
Right so my boyfriend works nights and when he isn't working he is asleep like he could be asleep for 24 hours. Now I understand that this means we wont see each other as much as would be desired but it has now got to the point where he no longer even so much as texts me to say hi or anything.
He just says 'well it ain't my fault im working'
Ok I understand you work but you get a break what is your excuse?
He also does not seem to care that we might not actually see each other for weeks at a time because all he does is sleep.
I really don't know what to do any more. Like I have tried. I stay up at night so that I can talk to him on his break and then he never calls and I then end up going to work the next day absolutely shattered.
It has also got to the point where I have given up making plans with him because he just never wakes up and ends up standing me up.
I don't know what to do anymore.
Please tweet me with your advice.

Popped My Lion King Cherry

Yes today was the first time I watched lion king!!! At the age of 19 (nearly 20) I sat down and watched it and I didn't cry. Instead I laughed at the way Ben was pretending not to sing along to every song!!!!
It did teach me one thing though. Just because people are supposed to be there for you they aren't always going to be. Family sometimes have another agenda as shown with scar but your true friends will be by your side no matter what.
Over all it was a good film the only downside was the fact that Disney seem to think a song is necessary every five minutes.

Super awesome lazy day

Today I did nothing!!! I had my first day off in what seemed like ages. I spend the day in my pajamas watching gossip girl on netflix eating junk and quite frankly it was utter bliss. I even has a nap lol!!!
It was the only way you spend a Sunday!!!! Doing nothing put a smile on my face, there was nothing expected of me. I could be in all my disgustingness and nobody could judge me. Now I am waiting for my loving  boyfriend to get off the xbox and give me cuddles!!!!!

today's happy moment!!!

I thought I would start this all off with what makes me happy everyday. Ben. Knowing he is always here for me when I need him. It's been hard of late what with us working in different betting shops and hours always clashing, but we are working so hard to see each other. In fact I am waiting for him to come round as write this terrible post!!!!

I Can Bake...Kind of

So while I was working the other day I saw that we were selling whoopie pie makers for only £5 so I bought one!!!
Because of this I went round to my boyfriends to make whopie pies!!! It took us about three hours to make them but  that is because we are quite simply awful at baking!!!
So here is the cheats way of making some interesting whoopie pies!!!

What you will need:

1 whoopie pie maker

100g butter

150g 70% chocolate

200g sugar

3 free range eggs

1tsp vanilla extract

30g cocoa powder

200g self raising flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

How to make them:

Melt the butter and  chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water making sure the bottom or the bowl does not touch the water. Keep stirring gently so that the chocolate does not burn.

Whisk the sugar, eggs and vanilla until a you get a mixture that is thick and pale in colour.

Fold the chocolate mixture into the sugar and eggs.

Sieve in the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and fold gently ensuring you do not over the mix the mixture.

Evenly distribute the mixture into the cases and cook for 3 minutes!!!

Pink marshmallow frosting:

What you will need:

100g softened butter

200g icing sugar

2tbsp milk

1tbsp vanilla extract

100g marshmallows

pink food colouring

How to make it:

Mix together the butter, sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Add the food colouring until you reach your desired shade of pink.

Gently melt the marshmallows in the microwave until they are slightly melted and start to puff up.

Add the marshmallows to the icing an mix till fully combined.

The frosting should be thick and light.

We made a little too much frosting so decorated the top with it and so pink sprinkles. I have to say although they may not have looked the best the sure were yummy!!!
