Introducing Shannon the master mind behind online store Kristal Cave.

Shannon grew up surrounded by people who had a strong belief in the abilities of crystals. This is opened the door to her love for the spiritual. Because of this, she made the decision to attend spiritual classes where she learnt more about the healing abilities and properties of crystals.

Crystals are believed to help with the curing of ailments and protect against disease. Many people believe that crystals are conduits for healing by allowing positive energy to flow through the body eliminating the harmful energy.

After buying several crystals for personal use, Shannon decided to start selling them herself. Pretty soon she started incorporating them into jewellery designs. The aim of the store is to be able to open the door of crystal healing to everyone by making them affordable.

The next step in her business dream is to be able to stock handmade tarot cards, notebooks and larger crystals for your home. Again all of this will be sold at a reasonable price!

So what is the dream? Shannon would love for the business to grow and prosper but eventually, she would love to open a physical store where people can visit and get advice on crystals.

I Built a Terrarium!!!

Ok I know four posts in a week plus a giveaway, I am spoiling you!!!

So this blog is inspired by Wednesdays post. After looking at so many brilliant terrariums by the fantastic Indoor Botanist I decided to give it a go myself. And I have to say I enjoyed it (even if I did get stabbed).

The hardest thing was finding the right container or vessel. But finally, I found a simple glass vase in TK Maxx for just £4.99. I also found a massive tank for just £20 that I would love to eventually create something awesome with.

So how did I make it? First of all, I poured in a layer of stones (£1 for a bag in B&M). I then added a layer of potting soil (£2.50 for a big bag from Wilko). Now, this is the tricky part, getting the cacti from the pots into the terrarium. As you can see from the photos I chose some particularly mean cacti. I ended up wrapping them in a tea towel and pushing them in with a spoon. Probably not the most conventional method. The cacti were actually super affordable (from £1 at Wilko). I then added a couple more stones to the top as decoration (and to support on of the cacti). And Pow you have a simple terrarium. Now, this is what I am most impressed with! I have finally started to get a hang of my camera so admire these beautiful photos!!!

Birch Box July

Now I know I'm not a major girly girl or super into makeup. But I am obsessed with this month's BirchBox.

So, first of all, let's talk about the box. Now I never keep the box instead I recycle them and use my existing storage. But this month's box is so beautiful. Who doesn't love palm trees and a sunset!

Now onto the contents. So I never get any of the cool stuff like makeup brushes or hair brushes, but this month I got tangle teaser!!! My hair gets so knotty so this is absolutely brilliant! Now the excitement is over onto the rest of my goodies. This month every box had a Benefit lip and cheek tint. I received the Cha Cha Tint which is an orange sort of colour.
Now in this hot weather, we are all relying on our deodorant so much. So when I saw the Native Unearthed coconut & vanilla Natural Deodorant Balm. This stuff is so much better than your normal can. You apply it directly to your underarm and they smell like vanilla all day. Honestly, there is really no going back!!!
Every night I use micellar water. So when I saw the Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar water I was stoked. Containing camomille it will be a brilliant help when it comes to relaxing at the end of the day.
I'm currently struggling with super dry hair so I cannot wait to use Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery. So far nothing has worked but I live in hope.
Finally the last item I received a Kensie Eau De Parfum sample. It is a lovely floral scent that is perfect for the summer.

Thank You For Giving Me a Kick Up the Butt

I wrote this a little while ago. I was in a pretty bad place too scared to even leave the house. The reason I didn't post it originally is because I didn't quite understand why I had written it. It was one of those moments where the words just appeared on the screen, I wasn't even aware that I was typing.
I shared these words with a close friend of mine and he made me realise that there are so many paths that I can take, just because I haven't discovered what I want to do it doesn't mean my life is over.

Since that conversation I have done a lot of thinking and dreaming and I have decided to pursue writing. I understand it is an incredibly hard scene to crack but I'm just going to give it a go.
I've also realised that there is nothing keeping me in Gloucester, so if an opportunity arises that requires me to move I am going to go for it.

So here it is. I'm not sure what it is but it is here for you to read.


I'm sat here staring in to space feeling lost in this world.
Not sure what to do or where to go.
I see people, they know what path they are on and how to get to where they are going.
I am lost.
I am confused.
I am 21 without focus.
Even my tears have no meaning.
Where did I go wrong?
What did I do?
I have no voice or no feeling.
I am numb with no sense.
Where do I go and where did I come from?
Is there meaning to this life or am I just waiting to die?

My Goals For April

Every month I have decided to set myself some goals in which to achieve. These goals are based upon the areas of my life I wish to improve from the month before. So here are my goals for April!!!

Be Happy
Isn't this what everyone wants really? Happiness comes in many different forms and I am forever trying to find the source of mine.

Stay Positive
At the moment I am finding it so hard to only see the negative side of a situation and it only causes me to over think and just feeling really down.

Think Of Others Before Myself
Very recently I realised that the things I say and do although not intentional can upset others. Sometimes me trying to express my concern can have adverse effects.

Write More
I have realised that I have seriously neglected something that genuinely does mean a lot to my life. So this month I am going to try and do some sort of writing everyday be it on this blog or in my journal.

At the end of the month I will look back and see how I have come along and if I have achieved my goals.

Time For A Little Cry

So today is mothers day in the UK. This means Facebook, instagram and twitter is full of mother and child photos and sweet little anecdotes of how special every ones mums are. I hate days like this because it just reminds me that I don't have that kind of relationship with my mum. I wouldn't change the relationship I have with my mum because it works for us but sometimes I do think I wish we could be closer, I wish we could go on mother and daughter shopping trips together and do more than grab a cheap lunch at the posh Wetherspoons every few months.
I don't actually have any photos of me and my mum. I think that is what upsets me the most. For some one from the outside looking in they would almost be able to believe my parents only had one child. I know that not to be true but so many of my friends see my family as horrible people who don't care for me but a lot of the time I think that is because they don't understand the relationship I have with them.
OK yes it does bug me when my parents don't return my calls. They probably think I'm just bored and wanna say hi but sometimes I do genuinely just want to here my mums voice because I miss her and sometimes I just need her to reassure me that everything is OK even i she doesn't realise that is what she is doing.
I miss my family I really do. I try to play it cool but in reality I am so goddamn lonely with out them. I know too much time has passed for anything to change or to go back to how it was but I just don't want to end up like my dad who has no relationship with his family what so ever. I want my future family to know  their cousins and grandparents. I want to have big family barbeque's in the summer and to all get together at Christmas and birthdays. I want them to  grow up surrounded by plenty of people who love and care for them, always knowing they have someone they can turn to to talk about anything that is of concern to them.

February Faves

Hello there my lovelies.
Now first of all a massive sorry for not posting this month but I have been super busy.
So shall we have a look at what I have been loving this month?
So the first thing is The Body Shops Drops of Youth Liquid Peel!! I originally spoke about this in my most recent What I Bought Today post. I really struggle with super dry skin on my tzone and no word of a lie after just one use of this skin peel my forehead has been dry skin free for up to a week. Would recommend this to everyone!!!

The second thing on my favourites list is Soya Milk!!!
Now I often suffer with terrible spots. No matter how much I wash my face and use facemasks these spots still wont budge. After a little bit of research I discovered that cows milk may have been a contributing factor to my poor skin. So because of this I decided to convert to soya milk. After a week of using soya milk in my coffee and breakast I could see a massive difference and at long last my skin looks like it could soon be clear!!!

The Final thing this month is my new hair colour!!!
For so long now I have been sporting a range of vivid hair colours the thought of having a natural hair colour must seem bizarre but low and behold I am now a brunette!!!

And what is crazier is that I freakin' love it!!! Despite being a natural blonde I do feel as though at heart I should have been born with dark hair it really does look natural. Again a massive thank you to my friend Aimee for all the hard work she put into it!!!

January Faves

Hello!!!
So it is a new year so why not an new blog series!!!
Now in the past I have always stuck to what I have known and never tried anything new but for the last few months I have been getting birch box, which is a brilliant subscription box full of high end full sized and sample sized beauty products. This means I can sample some brilliant products that have quite simply changed my beauty life!!! Now my current favourite that I have been sent is the Marcelle BB creme golden glow. It is a great alternative to foundation, honestly the best BB cream I have ever tried!!!

Now I have to say thank you to a new friend of mine for this next favourite and that is Star Wars!!!! How had I not watched these pretty awesome films until now??? So I watched them all in the space of a week and I do not regret it. Obviously Harry potter will always be my number one but why had nobody told me how sarcastic droids are!!! C3PO is my dream best friend and K2SO just a dream!!!
Seriously if you have never watched them and are thinking but I'm not a 12 year old geek watch Rouge One and you will be immediately hooked. I watched them in the order the were released and honestly I wouldn't watch them any other way. Now to wait till December for The Last Jedi!!!

So my final favourite this month is my all time favourite perfume. Now I have been wearing this particular scent for a while now but I recently found out it is being discontinued!!! Givenchy Play is such a beautiful invention that i just adore!!!! Seriously if you can get your hands on a bottle do it you will be for ever thankful!!!
